Shawn: Minneapolis, MN, United States; My name is Shawn. In a nutshell I am a financial crimes compliance professional, lawyer, disability consultant and advocate, nonprofit founder, super sports fan, movie buff, aspiring children's book author, Eagle Scout, and proud uncle. On July 12, 1996 I sustained a spinal cord injury (SCI) in a diving accident that left me a C-6/7 complete quadriplegic, which means that I am paralyzed from the chest down and use a wheelchair (see my July 12th post for a detailed, first person account of the day of my accident).
